Discounts for Annual Passes?

I've heard that there are discounts on resort rooms with an annual pass. Is this true? If so, how do you go about getting the discount? Do you tell them when you place the reservation, or when you arrive at the front desk?

We booked our ASMovies room long ago for our upcoming trip and then recently decided to get an Premium AP. Are we out of luck for this trip?

Don't know about disocunts right now. When are you going??? It seems to me that the AP rates are out now- 9/30 and more are coming out for 10/3-12/25.

Check mousesavers.com for codes. If you are buying an AP and can find an AP rate , then book it. You can apply a discount to your current reservation and you don't have to have the pass now to do it. You will need to have the pass when you check in. That means going to a park to purchase them before you check in.
You can buy vouchers at the Disney store, but you still have to exchange them for passes to check in. This process is very quick. The quickest place to do this is Epcot.
