Discounts/Coupons/ Specials on LL Bean Boots?

Looking for LL Bean Duck Boots for DD for Christmas. The only thing she really wants, but I don't want to pay $139 for them. Does anyone know of any discounts, coupons or specials for LL Bean? And yes, it has to be LL Bean. Tried talking her into the Sperrys, but no go. She's in college and knows what she wants!

Head's up - while surfing here I have The Today show on, and they just did a "Black Friday/short supply item" story - and LL Bean Boots are on back order, or on very short supply! Who would've guessed? (they also mentioned some Star War Items, Legos, and some paw paw pet item?)

Of course it's the hot item of the year. Should have known when my DD was so specific. Guess I'll just have to work on getting them, and not sweat the price. Ugh.

I get their daily e-mails and frequently there is a 10% off offer (most recent one ended yesterday). I bought my DD boots last winter and they were finally shipped in June.

Does the code NOV10 work for 10% off on the boots? It's listed on Ebates that it doesn't expire until today. Ebates also has 4% cash back on LL Bean purchases.

Order early We ordered my son's last year and they were back-ordered. We received them months later - so late that he is just now wearing them for the first time this fall!

So funny how styles come back around. We wore these same boots in the 80's!

I agree about the frequent 10% off; one ended yesterday so they will probably have another one soon. Ebates or Swagbucks can get you a bit more back on your purchase. Good luck!

Yep...I ordered some for my college son a month ago and they are not expected to arrive until January 5th! Bean boots are always back ordered at Christmas time. A couple of years ago I got some for my daughter but ordered super early because someone warned me. I ordered in late August and they arrived within 2 weeks.

I think Bean boots always end up backordered. They are very popular and are apparently still Maine made in a small batches, not mass produced overseas.

They are worth the money though because they last and are great quality. Oh, and L.L.Bean stands behind their products. It's one of those things you are just better off ordering when you can and not fuss around with waiting for a discount.

They just had the 10% off coupon but the last couple coupons they've had they excluded the Bean Boots due to the limited supply. I have had mine for three years...bison leather with a red sole. They are having if you spend $50 or more you get a $10 gift card but I'm not sure on the Bean Boots with that either..

Another option, if you have one near you, is an LL Bean outlet. The one near me had a lot of the boots, cheaper than usual as they were all returns.

That works with everything or at least it did last year. I think in part because you aren't guaranteed to go back and use that $10 gift card and if you do you have to spend more than $10 to use it. I even used 5 of those $10 gift cards together and earned another gift card.
