Discounts at Xmas time

Any Canadians ever get a room discount during Christmas time? If so, which one ie: CAA, Annual Pass etc

We are going this Christmas and were lucky enough to get one of the pin codes that came out last January, so we are only paying $49/night at POP. We also went a couple of years ago at Christmas and used the room only code that came out in September. The thing with the codes is that you usually have to check in a few days before Christmas. This year we are going on Dec. 19 so that we are checking in during Value Season and not Holiday Season. This is the last year you'll be able to check in during Value Season and keep that rate all the way through your stay, so it'll probably be our last Christmas trip for awhile.

Is it possible Disney offer pin code/Discount for December 2007, We already booked our rooms at AKL and POR. We will check in on Dec 19 as well to get the lower rate.

Disney often have rates that give a nice discount as long as you check in by a certain date. Some years it has been Dec 22 and others earlier that that. Just keep an eye out...

Anybody notice that with the new rates for 2008, they got rid of that happy little loophole about checking in during Value Season and getting the Value rate for your whole stay?

According to the Mousesavers site: "The only time AAA/CAA discounts don't usually apply is Holiday Season (around Christmas) at the Value and Moderate resorts." This is for the CAA room-only discount.

To OP: I got the good PIN code this year for our stay in mid-December, but it wasn't applicable for nights after December 22. I think they don't need to entice people with lower rates for the actual holiday season... people come pouring in even at the crazy holiday season rates!

We are checking in on Dec 18th- Jan 1st with this pin offer. Couldn't believe it. Just $775 for 14 nights and that over Christmas. We are staying until Jan. 5th but could only book 14 days with that offer, so we have a split stay. First part is ALL Star Movies and from Jan 1st - Jan 5th, POP Century. So excited!
