Discounts at FW

Are there any discounts for Camping at FW. I mean come on free dining for hotels and nothing for camping. They should offer a discount like 20% off stay at FW using your campers or tent. Or % off the dining plan.

AAA offers a fort room only discount around 10% off.

If your looking at cabins, I was able to get a cabin for 4 nights in Oct. and got a AAA discount. It came to a total of $212.56 off the regular price. I was pretty happy with that. It will help towards some meals...

Should have said marketing discounts, but I think your discount is more of a perk.

The hotels have more fixed costs like A/C and heat and need to fill rooms even if they only break even since hotel guests also need to eat so will spend a little bit more money at the restaurants.

It just doesn't work that way for FW, they also don't need to have discounts since I have heard they have a pretty good occupancy rate for the campsites..

Remember discounts are part of marketing not something they do to be nice.

I had been told more than once that my current PIN code could not be used at the Cabins. Then on another call, the castmate said the PIN absolutely would apply at the Cabins. I switched right then and there...with a 30% off discount. I verified twice that she used the PIN code and not the summer savings deal. We're staying the week of July 4th.

I'm glad I checked this thread. I've booked a campsite for Labor Day weekend and I just called to reservations inquire if they could get a AAA rate on my reservation. No problem... It was 20% off my rate so I just saved $44 .
