Hi All,

I have joined MIMI's & Dennys emailing lists to receive discounts & specials on food, can anyone think of anywhere else that would have discounts like this around DL that would save us money? :flower1:

Thank You

How far are you willing to go? Costco sells discounted gift cards for several area restaurants...

Were coming all the way from Australia so we wont have a car but we could catch a shuttle or bus if its close. ? Also how far are the Outlets from Anaheim & which is the biggest one?
We are staying at HOJOS.
- where is Rainforest cafe? ive never seen it there?

I see you got your ticker all set! Looks nice.
Rainforest Cafe is in DTD
I hear you can make reservations by calling the restaurant. Since you're coming from Australia you could call or stop in once you're here.

A lot of these places are going to send you an introductory offer that expires before you arrive. You should sign up for their clubs within 30 days.

For Rainforest Cafe, you join Landry's. Its nice because they own a few other restaurants like Claim Jumper, which we love. So we earn points at any of their restaurant, and we earn free chef's appetizers and desserts, etc. and they send you a dollar amount to use on your birthday, which was pretty generous(i think $25 or $35?)

Check your hotel room for tourist guide magazines (also check the hotel lobby for these). Often these guides have coupons for local places near the parks.

The problem with the buses/shuttles is they charge a couple bucks per person, so anything you save on food is spent on the bus and then some. IMO you are better off finding stuff walking distance. We reLly like Pizza Press across the street in the Anaheim Inn and Suites, or I think bow called Anaheim plaza or The Anaheim Hotel(they keep changing the name), but search for Pizza Press. Good pizza and salads reasonably priced.

One idea for savings depends on the length of your stay. Compare prices at HomeWood suites convention center. It's a 15 min walk. But breakfast is included and mon-thurs dinner with beer or wine is included.

You can walk 5 min to the toy story parking lot but it takes 15 min total anyway.

Never thought of that :thumbsup2 Actually i was going to book Universal Studio tickets before we go but i might just leave it until we get there incase of any deals over there..

If you like Pizza and Italian, look at Marris website. http://marrispizza.com/ They DELIVER!
We can get a large pizza delivered for less than $20

We order from them each trip. Sometimes even two or three times.
My grandkids are starving all the time. It's an inexpensive way to fill them up.

I have learned to check in with Marris a couple of hours earlier to see the lead time for delivery.
We often call in an order while in Tomorrowland as we begin to stroll back to the hotel.

When we stay off site they generally deliver to our room if I ask them too.
When we stay on site they can only come as far as bell services, so we meet them there.

Once we have our pizza it's off to the pool/hot tub to close out the night.

Good food for a reasonable price.

I second Marri's, great for dine in or delivery. We have it for lunch at least twice a trip. Portions are HUGE and totally shareable. VERY reasonable prices.

I would check out Mousesavers.com (see below link) to see all the discounts. And I agree with the other op about signing up 30 days before. Another restaurant I signed up for is Ruby's Diner. Its close by and has great food and huge portions. I signed up for Patina group which you can find on the mousesavers website and they offer specials for buying their gift cards from time to time. This summer their offer was an additional $20 with $100. In gift certificate purchase. They have quite a few restaurants in DTD. https://www.mousesavers.com/disneyl...isneyland-meal-snack-drink-discounts-coupons/

Pizza Press is no longer at that location. It moved months ago and is now a stand alone property at the corner Disney Way and Harbor.

I think you both are talking about the same location. Pizza Press is currently located on Harbor just south of Disney Way, in a corner of the Anaheim Hotel property (the restaurant can be hard to see sometimes behind the construction fencing). The address for Pizza Press and for the Anaheim Hotel is the same, 1700 S. Harbor.

Negative ghost rider, just ate there a couple weeks ago. But you are correct on the location of the hotel/pizza press.

It did move from its former location next to the Carousel Inn (which was demolished) to its current location at the Anaheim Hotel. So you are correct that it moved, but it moved to the hotel named.
