Planning on doing a day at Uni. Studios (first time visit) in April. Is there a way to get a discounted ticket in advance or only at park gate with AAA? Thanks!

You can buy tickets at AAA before you go. I don't know how this discount compares to what you will get at the gate, but at least you will not have to wait in line for tickets on your way into the parks. I bought a three day two park ticket at AAA Cincinnati for about $90 back in August 03.

Not sure if you will find a discount on a single day pass, however this is our first attempt at anything other than Disney and I found a GREAT deal on the Universal Studios website.

They are offering an internet only deal where you purchase a two day pass for 89.95 and receive an additional THREE days FREE:earseek: Sure wish Disney would follow their lead.

Also if you use you Mastercard and purchase 4 passes you receive 1 free. Perfect for our family of 5.

FYI: The adult and child pass cost the same amount.

I believe the one day pass mentioned in the above post is only for Universal Studios Hollywood. If you are visiting for more than one day, the bonus pass at that link is a great deal.

My bad, that is correct, just looked at it wrong, but the buy 2 get 3 is an awesome deal.

Sorry for any confusion.

jlcbshaw, Where did you get the info that the discount tickets are only valid through April 30,2004? It does not say that when you order them. I see people on this board ordering them for dates past April. I hope people are not going to have a problem. thanks.

I think that jlcbshaw was referring to the fine print located below the click-thru for the US-Hollywood passes. The USF/IOA 5-day passes are $81.95 before taxes and do not have expiration dates. However, the 5-days are consecutive days....the passes expire 5 days after the first day of use.

if you need 5 passes use the mastercard discount and pay for 4 only using a mastercard. The link is on mousesavers.com under other theme parks- universal prices

The Kraft Deal is definitely the way to go as I just read that the 5 day pass just went up to $99.95! Can someone definitely verify that these tix do not have an expiration date! Also, will they mail these tix to me...because our trip is not until Aug.?

Cindy,

That is correct. They will mail them to you, but a fee applies. That is why most people just pick them up at arrival. But I am like you. I want to have it in hand, to make sure there are no interruptions on my trip.

MinniMama...once you get to the site from mousesavers, where is the link for using a master card? I went there and have looked around and can't find anything.

Thanks!

Never Mind..after re-reading the whole page I finally found it!

We got ours today I paid 11.oo shipping for the mastercard offer and 11.oo for the kraft offer 6 tickets with tax and shipping 499.
not bad for five cvonsequitive days 8o or so a piece. Also there was a phone number on the web site AFTER I bought and a human confirmed these do not expire until you begin your five days.:)
