I just thought that I would pass this along If you buy a 2 day pass from AAA the third day is free. This offer starts on July first. The only glitch is the third day expires in Dec. of 2002. I had heard about this , I believe, on this board.Checked it out and was lucky enough to exchange our 2 day that were bought a few months ago today. The AAA person was nice enough to do this for us because we are leaving on Monday and the promotion doesn't start till then. Never hurts to ask.

did you hear about this at a AAA office?
I bought our tickets just last week online and didn't see it. I'm thinking about now driving to the nearest office to see if we can exchange ours also. Don't know if we'll be as lucky as you, but it may be worth a try. We're also going next week. Thanks for the info.

I believe that I read about this on this board.
Someone mentioned that it was in their AAA Horizons newspaper.

I wanted to add,in case you dont have AAA that I just purchased my tickets thru universalstudios.com and click on buy tickets, I was able to purchase 3 day pass for 94.95 (ad) and 81.95 (child), I got express shipping and got my tickets today, 3 days later :-)

According to AAA - starts July 1 - ends September 28. Passes good till Dec. 2002. Purchase 2 days - 3rd free. The price I got - Adult - 80.00 - child $65.00.

If you buy the AAA pass, do they give you the ticket at the AAA office and does it state its a 3 day pass on the ticket? Or do we have to do something at Universal when we get there in order to get the third day free?

the whole AAA thing with universal is always confusing. i mean i bought my adventure pass and i have to beg to be able to use it.

Got my AAA Magazine today. There was an ad for 3rd day free when you purchase a 2-day/2-park ticket at your local AAA office. Ad said you must purchase before Sept. 28, and tickets good until Dec 2002. I called the nearest AAA office (bought my tickets a week ago online) and asked if I could bring them in and get the extra one. She said that I could go to the customer service (can't remember the exact lingo) before entering the park, with our tickets and we'll get the extra one then. Hope she's right. it would be nice to take advantage of this or have the ticket for another trip.
