Discounted purchase items with purchase?

Hi Guys!

I looked but I didn't see the info here. Does DL have specials where if you spend "X" amount at a store you can buy a couple items at a discount? Here at WDW we'll have specials like if you spend $40 in s store you can buy a back pack for $16.95 or a watch for $12.95. They vary and change every few months.

Can you tell I am hoping for discounted luggage of some kind? I have a feeling I am going to need extra baggage for my return trip!!

They do. Indeed, very often the Purchase with Purchase products are the same or VERY similar (i.e. they put "Disneyland Resort" on it as opposed to "Walt Disney World", but it's otherwise the same bag/towel/etc.) to those sold here in Florida.

When we were there last week it was a watch or a big duffle bag.

We ended up with two nice throw blankets and a pin trading starter set in May. Cool stuff!

We bought a throw blanket in 11/08...it's nice! I can't remember how much we had to spend to get it, but we were spending that amount anyway and the blanket wasn't very expensive. If they have specials like that they will ask you at the register...

We were able to buy a deluxe pin trading starter kit for half its price if we spent over $15 at a pin trading stall. The kit was normally $30(ish) so we bought a few new pins to get to the $15 PLUS then another $15 for the kit. Bargin!

I saw the add for this totebag when I went to DL last May. When I asked for the totebag at World of Disney, the CM had no idea what I was talking about. Too bag, I would have liked this bag.

The CM would have been coming to look at the sign with me!! That is the sort of thing I let go at WDW because I can always go back- but I'm a proper tourist at DL! I hope they have that rolling duffle with DL on it! (I've given up on getting really different merchandise between the parks. Even T-shirts are the EXACT same design with different park names on them! )

They have had the rolling duffel for a while, also what I noticed was if the World of Disney Store didn't have it I was able to find it in the Disney Resort Hotel gift shops. I got the rolling duffel and Christmas blanket last Dec at the PPH gift shop.
