I didn't see this posted but it might help someone. Free upgrade to premium ticket when you book a package. To get the code log in to your account. :sunny:

I have a disney visa but I can not access my account through the inter net ... should I just call disney visa directly to get the code (usually they are clueless  .) This upgrade would be great ... we already have a room only res. for May and was thinking about getting our tickets through tickemani if disney did not come out with some deal ...

Well ... just called disney and they said I could not apply it to my res.
We have room only res. right now for may but we did get a discount off the room by using a redemption certificate (30% off) so she said I could not get the ticket upgrade even if I wanted to buy my tickets through disney and therefore make a MYW package. I thought it would be the same as a AAA discount but I guess I am wrong, perhpas the AAA discounted packages will not be allowed to "upgrade" either ...

:lmao: :lmao:

I am hoping maybe Chase is gettting wise to the unhappiness of card holders in their not making the card more worth our while to have. I hope to see more offers in the future. After all, maybe not Disney Dollars - but with other cards you can get reward dollars to spend at Disney.

I wish I could get excited about this offer but when I analyze it, the savings are minimal and I can get just as much with a AAA discount.

And, I am boycotting my Disney Visa anyway. They have consistently raised my interest rate. Overtime it's gone from 9.9% to 19.9%, I've always paid it on time, do carry a balance but not close to the top. My credit is excellent, never miss payments with anything, and have never bounced a check in my entire life so am not sure why they feel they can get away with such a high interest rate when there are so many other, much better, deals around. I have an MBNA Bank of America card at 9.9% so use that instead. Disney Visa high interest rates coupled with their meager deals leaves me totally unexcited.

I used to be a Disney Club member and recall getting great deals. When that went away, the Disny Visa was touted as replacing some of those bennies. I have yet to see an offer that comes even close.

I'm pretty sure this same deal will be offered to the public this Thursday 2/23. I do have a Disney Visa, but booked my ressie last year on another credit card and the deal says you have to put the deposit on your Disney Visa.

It will only save us around $126, but every little bit helps.

My Disney rewards card just collect dust in my purse. I use my Citibank one that gives me 5% back on grocery, gas and drug store purchases. I just got a check for $326 from them to use toward our AP's for the year. They give me the rewards that they promise and on time too.

I might drag my Disney rewards card for a good deal but this is not one to my way of thinking. I already have AP's and never do the water parks anyway.

Slightly Goofy (who is hoping for some sort of code as she is ready to go back NOW!!)

I'm not thrilled with the deal either. My thought was if I couldn't get the AP discount for my dates at BW I was going to do a package thru disney w/dining +1 day tickets. I also thought Disney might try to match Universals deal & have free tickets & dining for children.

I just called, it would save us $10/night at All Stars, but Movies was not available and we didn't want to switch for $10.

CBR was available, WL was not.

We have a package booked for 5/21thru 5/26 with an AAA discount. I will post whether we get to take the deal. We do have a Disney Visa. Our package already includes PH and No Exp, but doesn't include the water parks

I called my AAA agent and left a message to see if we can use the YUY code....we were going today to pay off our trip, but I would easily re-book if needed to use this code!

Mom2grace ...
You said you would save 10 per night with this ... Do you also have a AAA discount?
I am just wondering if you can have a MYW Package w/AAA discount and still get the upgrade
Thanks

Nope, just a rack room only rate at ASMo.

I'm going to guess that the AAA/Visa combo is not an option?

I think that the upgrade is from a base non-hopper ticket to the plus ticket. (2 levels) We had budgeted hopper without the pluses, so that's where we only get a "small" discount for something we won't use. We would've had to switched from ASMo as well.

I know that many of you are not thrilled with the Visa discount, but for someone who is not an AP holder and never had a discount I am excited. I just called and had the discount applied to my package. I saved $198 and got the water parks added in additon. This is a big thing to me as I have never been able to score a discount!!! I'll take what I can get!!

Isn't there a limit as to what you can earn in cash back in a calendar year? I went on citibank site and the cash back had a limit of $300 per calendar year. Disney's is $750 per calendar year.

Who cares? At 5% cash back on markets and gas, it adds up was faster than we'd seen with Disney. So we got a second cash back card, once we hit the $300 we switch to the other. Then we dumbed the Disney card!

We were able to use this code along with our AAA codes. We booked and paid in full tonight!!!!!
