Discounted Elf on the Shelf?

Has anyone seen Elf on the Shelf discounted after Christmas? If you see it while out shopping, please post where and how much. I want to pick it up to use in my class next year.

I was at Borders today and they weren't marked down yet

Barnes and Noble had them 50% off, but the six that I saw at 11:00 were gone by 5:00.

I was wondering if there was a poem that comes with the Elf on the Shelf or is there a story that comes with it to explain about the Elf?

I have a pattern to sew an Elf and was thinking of making it up for our family for next year.

They're $30 regular price. My local Barnes and Noble sold out before Christmas. I will try to get out to a Hallmark tomorrow to see if they have any left.

There are other companies who sell Christmas elves though, and I think some of them do come with just a poem.

Or you can use their ideas as a jumping off point, and come up with your own story, poem, rules, etc. That way you can personalize things just for your family.



I picked up Annalee elves marked way down at TJMaxx and then came up with my own poem, etc.
