Discounted Disney Gift Cards.....

Is this something that has still been going on? I remember reading about it at some point and time. Before you leave for your trip, you get an email from WDW and you could get like $500 or $1000 gift cards at reduced rates. Sound familiar?

I don't know if it is going on now, but we received an email offer like that before our trip this past Dec. It came about 15 days before our arrival date. They called it a Disney World Merchandise Credit and we could purchase $500 for $395, 600 for 445, or 1000 for 695.

Last year it was only for merchandise.

This was just something I saw a couple of years ago. I didn't know it was a short time promo, maybe even requiring a PIN. I just thought it was something they sometimes did for just anybody to pre-purchase at a discount, kind of like the Photo Pass discount. Thanks for the info!!!

We bought a $1000 gift card for our trip last July for $700!! I remember getting the offer a couple of weeks before our trip. I'm really hoping it's still being offered.

I also was very interested in one for our 3/31-4/8 trip. I contacted guest services and was told it was a special promotion they have run in the past and it is not running at this time.
