I have to agree on places like here on the DIS and other forums.

I think I will just go down and stand by the gates hacking my cards that way.

I'll be there from June 16-26th maybe a sandwich sign would not attract to much attention lol

Maybe we can start a sandwich board swap! (Just joking for those tired dis-ers out there.)

And realistically, I don't know of anyone who feels like chancing the economy right now. We're planning a trip but we already have the tickets and the discounted room. Add in that we know what we're doing and we won't spend a huge amount.

Did anyone else in this 83 page thread get a private message from a board mod saying that it is against disboard guidelines to list these AP discount passes. Apparently when I did this it's considered soliciting? Just wondering because all I posted was I got my 4 AP discount cards like everyone else.

Did you only post in this thread? I haven't received any PM's regarding posting in this thread but I know the mods have been closing other threads that people have started regarding these discounts.

Why oh, why could they not have made it expire at the end of August instead of July.

My sister's family is coming down with us August 19th and they are wondering about getting AP's since they are from Atlanta and could get there rather easily but they've never had AP's. This would have given them the perfect incentive to buy them and then visit for 3/4 day weekends.......they have just started thinking about doing this since our trip in April (they just had one day passes).

Between our family and her family, we would have saved $225. So we miss it by 19 days. What an absolute bummer!

I have 4 cards that will probably just be wasted. What a shame.

No, but I had thought posting anything in order to receive something ($25 giftcard) couldn't be posted. I did start a thread to ask this. I thought I remembered that we couldn't give out our referral code in order to get $25 disney dollars when someone else opens a new Disney Visa. Same type of offer in my mind. I never really got an answer on my inquiry, just some thoughts.

Exactly, see my post above yours. Thought we couldn't do it at all. I recall some on the budget board trying to receive the $10 bonus for referring a new ING account as well as the $25 disney dollars referral bonus for a new acct. Not that I have a problem with this one, but what is the difference?
