Discounted/3rd party tickets ?

If we upgraded to annual passes from tickets we got at way.com or orbitz, would we retain the discount? Like if we paid 250 but the ticket value is 270, (making up numbers) do they give us 250 or 270 towards the annual passes?

The amount you paid is supposed to be encoded in the ticket. Some people have reported retaining the discount. It may be that the reseller is selling them for less than Disney thought they would when the tickets were encoded. Sometimes the back of the ticket will actually have an upgrade value printed on it, so read the back for any conditions.
