How many ppl are switching resorts with the codes coming out? My ta told me that I could switch to a moderate for a little less than my value. I am just wondering how many others have upgraded??

We moved from the non-discounted Family Suites at all-stars to two rooms at CSR. We've never stayed at either place, but I figured for a little more than $200 we'd get more space, more privacy and an upgraded resort.

It will be me, my husband and two daughters (6, 14) and my mom -- one of the original employees at Disneyland who's never been to WDW. We're heading out to see my son march with his high school band in the MK. Figured for the slightly extra expense, it will be a much nicer trip for my family!

We upgraded from Pop to POFQ for a little over $200 for 10 days. I think it was definitely worth it!!

We upgraded from Pop to POR for eight nights for $38. WORTH IT!

When is everyone going? I am going Dec 3-10 and my ta said she might be able to move me to a moderate from value for about the same price.

Dec 2-9th, we had to cancel POFQ as there was no discount, and moved to another moderate, Coronado Springs resort. BUT we are saving over $600 between the two rooms to do this, so it was completely worth it even tho we aren't getting the hotel we booked back in january (which we so wanted). in the end we are still staying on disney property!

travel agency involved? When did you request upgrade?


Thursday was my TA's day off ,her coworker did NOT process my

request. (I called 9:00 AM Thurs.)

My request FINALLY put though this morning. Dates may be sold out, won't

know for 48 hrs (TA put through a special request) Next time I

book online with Disney ! Thanks for letting me vent

bufallogirl, I'm so sorry for you, I hope you are able to get what your looking for. This is why I always do my own bookings on everything. I just can't stand to allow anyone else controll over my reservation.
You could always see what you can get on your own and cancel if your TA comes through. Hoping some pixie dust comes your way.

Belle- Thanks for your kind words. When I was on Disney website last night,

CSR had no availability for Nov 29 and Nov 30 (for the discounted rooms). I

do have CSR booked for Nov 29- Dec 6- just hoping for my $315 adjustment.


Really regretting going through TA...next time I'm booking directly with Disney.

Definitely in need of some pixie dust...

We are staying at Caribbean Beach (first time, so pretty excited). We didn't upgrade hotel, instead we upgraded our tix so now we have 10 day hopper no expiring, for an addl $60. I figure it this way, since we are only using 5 days this time around, we will have 5 day tix for next visit for only $60, and that is a savings of 1076 over what the tickets are worth if we paid for a 5 day hopper with no expiration. Here's hoping for free dining next year, with my already paid for $60 tix for the week!!! (plus it only cost me $60 to guarantee DH will take us to Disney again, soon!!)

If trip is already booked , you must contact your travel agent (if you used

one) to request any changes or adjustments. If you booked directly with

Disney, you may call them directly to make changes.

If you haven't booked yet, I STRONGLY recommend you book directly with

Disney ASAP. Hope you get what you're hoping for

Congats on your good fortune! You were very wise to deal directly with

Disney. I think CSR is a much better option especially during Pop Warner

week.

What code for December is everyone talking about? I am a little confused…
Is this a visa card discount, AP discount, or public discount? If public discount do I just call and ask for it to be applied? We are going Dec 1-10 staying in ASMU family suite.

We were booked at POP from 11/18 - 11/25. TA contacted me first thing Thursday morning and said she couldn't get us the package discount for POP but she went ahead and booked us for CSR if were interested in upgrading. So, we upgraded and saved $98 from our POP price.
