discount tickets for 1 day at Universal?

Do these exist? We are a Disney group but MUST go to see Harry this trip (Nov 3-13) We are going to rent a car on WDW property and drive up for the day. I have searched but can't find a discount....any help would be appreciated. Just one day and only to Universal Studios, not IOA.

You want IOA if you want to see the Harry Potter themed part of the park.

One day tickets are very rarely discounted, just like at WDW and even then it is very little. No matter what one day ticket you get, you can use it at either IOA or at the Studios. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is at IOA however, as disneyag said.

In any case, I will look into AAA since we have it and undercover tourist. Costco only does multi day?
We have an exchange student from Belgium living with us for the year and we HAVE to give her the full Disney experience, but not necessarily the Universal one, kwim?

We did this on our trip a couple of weeks ago, it was by far our most expensive day of the trip (yay for free dining!!) but SO WORTH IT! Approx $90/person to get in but WWoHP was amazing. The Forbidden Journey ride was pretty fantastic! Get there EARLY if you want to do the wand shop show, we headed there first (at opening) and waited 20 min or so even then. HAVE FUN!

Theme parks don't typically give discounts on a single day visit...at least in Orlando. Neither Disney or Universal offer single day discounts to the public. I don't see that trend ever changing. At Universal, about the only way to get a discounted single day ticket for your friends/family is to have an annual pass. If you know someone with an AP they could purchase your ticket at a 10% discount.

Before Harry came to Orlando, you could get 7 days for $89. Those days are long gone.

However, the improvements to the parks since the money from Potter started rolling in are amazing!

Yup...I would guarantee as soon as HP shows up in Hollywood, all those specials are going to go poof...never to be seen again.
