Has anyone used floridaticketstation or thebestdealsinorlando.com, why is their tickets cheaper than the gate? Or are they?

The best Disney ticket site it's attractionticketsdirect.co.uk you can buy every single ticket you can imagine on there website and they are the cheapest.

But discount ticket websites usually are cheaper than the gate price either cause they have special offers on such as 14 days for the price of 7 etc however make sure when you buy your tickets it is a secure professional site I made the mistake once and lost £900.
I've been using attractionticketsdirect ever since and they are really good :) hope this helped!

Haven't heard of either of these. There are a couple ticket scams going at all times, so if the deal seems TOO good to be true, it probably is.

There are some unscrupulous vendors who sell "used" tickets with a day or two remaining. These can be difficult to use, and if they sell you a 5-day with 2 days remaining, well you'll be out of luck! A lot of other discount tickets will require a timeshare presentation; legitimate tickets, but you have to decide if the price is worth the loss of a half-day of your reservation. Not saying that either of these two sites are involved in that!

The most popular discount sites are Under Cover Tourist (but get the code from Mousesavers.com first to save even more - you need to sign up for their newsletter, once a month list of all kinds of deals) and Maple Leaf Tickets. There are a few other that you will find recommendations for throughout the site. I would only deal with one that you find SEVERAL recommendations for on the Disboards. Best thread is probably the Budget Board here for tips.

I just got tickets from undercovertourist.com Was very pleased with their service and would recommend them highly.

Undercover Tourist is awesome! Discount prices are great but my son LOST his multiday ticket with around 5 days left on it. I had purchased for him a couple years prior. Dummy me didn't keep a copy of it; now I definitely do. Anyway, I called Undercover Tourist and with my credit card info they were able to find my purchase and re-issue his card. Saved me a boatload of bucks (as well as saved my son who lost the card)!!

Lesson learned ... always, always copy your tickets and carry a copy with you on your trip!

buying tickets away from disney or undercover tourist just to save a few bucks isn't worth it and it's dangerous. it's your own fault if you get scammed. just my opinion. you might pay a bit more but at least you will have peace of mind.

Maple Leaf Tickets on 192 in Kissimmee is also legit. I have bought from both them and UT. Maple Leaf now has special pricing through Allearsnet.com. similar to Mousesavers deal with UT. The difference is that ML charges shipping but are very easy to pick up from for no cost. You can also walk in with the pricing sheet from allears and get the pricing on the spot.

Ditto on undercover tourist. Got a great deal through mousesavers.com for Disney tickets from them. Got our Universal tickets from Maple Leaf, they had a great deal last year. What you have to look at with these, they both include all taxes and ship free. Gate prices or buying from DW or US site do not include taxes. Haven't really seen either of them offering any great deals lately, but mousesavers.com has a newsletter they send out every month so if a deal comes up you will know about it.
