Any suggestion for getting a discount at the MCO HYatt? We want to stay the night before our cruise and the Hyatt website is showing a rate for $144. I have read that some get a good rate through priceline but I am too nervous to try - afraid I won't get it.
Any suggestions?

We booked our room at the MCO Hyatt using Travelocity for our 2/21 cruise and got a rate of $112 for the night. The rate wasn't as good as Priceline or Hotwire, but it was better than the standard Hyatt rate! Like you, I was afraid to try Priceline or Hotwire in case I didn't get the Hyatt.

By the way, the Hyatt was a great place to stay! It was so nice to just have to go up the escalator to the hotel instead of getting on a shuttle. In the morning, we set our luggage in the hallway by 8:00 am and DCL transported it to the ship for us. My kids liked the outdoor pool too. It was cool to swim outside on the sixth floor with airplanes roaring over us. Good luck!

I checked travelocity and their rate right now is $149. Our cruise is in July. Do I have time to wait for a lower rate?

I just reserved two rooms the other day for $134 each using an AAA rate. I saw it on their website, then called the hotel directly. This rate does not include tax.

Let us know if you find a cheaper rate and I will do the same since I am still researching a better rate.

We booked through Travelocity for $99.08 for a pary of five. However, I booked as soon as I could. We are sailing 5/15/04 and I booked last June.

We just stayed there for the night before our cruise. We got 3 rooms through Priceline for 39.00 each. But, it's never guaranteed that's what you'll get.
