Discount question

I am hoping to go to DL in early November 2015. I am used to DW discounts being public months in advance, but it looks like DL discounts come out only a couple of months ahead. Should I book my airfare and then wait for a hotel discount to come out, or should I book a package and modify it once a discount becomes available? We want to stay at the Disneyland hotel; all this is assuming there will be a discount, of course. Thanks!!

It seems like the prices and availability change by the minute. If they have what you want available now, at a price you can pay, I'd book it and make any changes later. You are more than a year out, so you have some time. But, if you wait too long, you may lose the availability.
