Discount Programs with DVC

In the process of buying at BWV and have not gone over some of the programs with my guide. What are some of the better deals available?

IMHO, the very best deal is the $100/$125 discount on the purchase of APs/PAPs. And those who purchase an AP/PAP, can get the DDE card for only $50. (Disney Dining Experience program gives you 20% off food & beverage, including alcohol at most WDW restaurants).

P.S. If you were asking about using your points for something other than DVC resorts, MHO is that there aren't any good deals - or at least very, very few, LOL!

I agree that the ap/pap discounts are terrific!

My favorite perk, though, is complimnetary valet parking at other DVC resorts! Doesn't save tons of money, It's just nice!

Bear in mind, though, that DVC perks and benefits can and do change. Just because something is available today does not necessarily mean it will be available tomorrow.

I consider the perks and bennies like toppings on an ice cream sundae -- they're tasty, and they are all different, but they're not the main event!

They are if one of them is chocolate fudge, LOL!

P.S. I do agree that the perks & bennies can and do change. A saavy buyer will not base any part of the purchase decision on them.

I agree about the fudge! I hope Disney sees that the AP perk has lots more DVC folks buying APs than before.
