Discount on checkin 8/14 POR

I was just checking rates using the general public code and I noticed something interesting. If you check in on 8/14 you get the discount for the entire length of stay. This did not work for all resorts. I know it the past that this is how it worked but I thought that Disney had stopped doing this. Trying to talk dh into booking but he is holding out for a code so we can go to AKL club level.

It works on all value and moderate rooms. Sorry if this has already been posted.
