Discount on APs?

Has it ever been possible to get discounts on APs instead of the x day passes? We usually try to get two trips on one set of APs by spacing them 11 months apart. With DC being discontinued, I was hoping maybe DVC might give some kind of discount. Anyone know of any other way to get discounts on the APs?

The only way I know to get a discount on the AP is to be a member of the Disney Club. Unfortunately if you are not already a member I believe its to late to sign up since they are closing it up as of Dec 2003.

Why would WDW give us DVC members a discount on park tickets? We are a captive audience, they know most of us are going discount or not!! They do give some kind of discount on that outrageous pass that counts the day you arrive and the day you leave, not a very popular pass to start with. Doubt DVC members will ever see a worth while discount on park passes.
