Discount memberships need to help with AKL

Would love to stay at AKL Dec 25(late) or Dec 26 to Jan 3. I currently have a reservation at CBR for $2200 including the general dream makers package. Currently AKL is 3300 for that time period and I was wondering if there is any travel discount memberships that I could get, that would bring the AKL price down to a more reasonable figure.

Also, I see lots of posts about AP discounts and am wondering what an AP discount is, and how do people get them.

Any help would be great.

an AP discount is an annual pass discount.
to bring your package down a little~ are you a member of triple A? or a member of the disney club (no longer accepting new members)? other than that to bring the price down you would need to wait and hope for a package code (special discount code released by disney 1 or 2 months before the dates they are effective).
most of us will suggest you book things separately. book your room and buy your tickets separately. it is almost always cheaper to do it that way.
