Are there typically any discounts for the family suite at ASMu?

Yes, I have seen posts by DISers who have had discounts on the family suites

I think the main thing is that they are so popular, availability might be the problem.

Here's some examples of prior posts showing AAA and AP deals - I have also read the family suites can pop up during the other "regular" specials (general public, codes, etc.) :

I booked them for 5/17-24 with AAA for 15% off discount on our family suite at ASMu.

we have them booked with the bounceback code and with the 40% pin code.

I agree, I too kept getting the family suites when searching the AP rates for September. I was probably because the free dining took up alot of regular rooms and the family suites were not part of the free dining, so those rooms were left unbooked. I hope they continue to offer a discount on these suites as they are a great new option. I kept getting $140 a night value rate for the suites for September (before tax).
