Discount ends in middle of stay? Help!?

So my family is planning our 4th Disney trip, dates Aug 24th-31st. Rumors of the summer discount ending on the 27th, and my speculation free dining may start on the 28th, I don't know what to do:/

Our current plans are Pop Century, 7 nights 8days, disney dining, 5 day ticket with water park option, should we just take the 15% off our first few nights And pay rack rate for the stay and keep our vacation the same?


Or

Would you change dates to 27th-sep1st. Do a one night room only at animal kingdom or wilderness lodge fir first night then start a 4 night 4 day package with possible free dining on the 28th- the 1st and loose days but get a better resort and free dining for less money than the initial package??


Or any other suggestions appreciated 3000 is the budget and we can't stay past the 1st

I would call and take advantage of the current offer and wait to make any date change until/if FD comes out for days in August.

I'm gonna to agree with Halloween Queen. You never know if free dining will be offered. Take the current discount and change if needed.

Also, I would take more days at disney over less 10 times out of 10.
