Discount Codes??

DO the discount codes apply to room only or packages. Can you use the discounts for room only? Which is the best way to go room only or package. I have ressies at AKL room only Aug 13-20 at a AAA rate. When codes come out what shold I do?

The discount codes definetly apply to room only ressies - not sure about packages as I haven't booked a package in eyons since I've been a DVC member for yrs now. As far as which is better (room only vs. package) you'd need to find out the prices and compare I guess but I've heard many a time that it's much more expensive to go with a package unless you are get a package that includes all your meals and you plan on eating out the entire trip (meaning if you stay in a home-away-from-home you may not use the meal plan).
Codes usually come out a few months before your trip date - Aug. codes should be coming out soon - rumored to be beginning to mid-May. Keep checking mousesavers.com they will list the codes as soon as they're released and what the requirements are for each code (AP - gen. public - Disney Visa holder, etc.) When the codes do come out, call and ask if you can have the code applied to your ressie and they'll adjust it for you if it is available.
