Discount Codes...

My dh and I are looking to book an Anniversary trip, just the two of us, at the end of September. When do the discount codes usually come out for that period of time? Is it better to book the room and then wait for the codes to come out? We would probably be using the Visa card discount code.
Also, what are the discounts like, how much is off of a moderate and a deluxe resort? We usually stay at Shades of Green so that is why I am not quite sure. Thank you for your help!

Great time to visit,,lower crowds and prices are a bit lower (more so beginning of Sept.) last year the free dining came out for visa card holders going in Aug/Sept.Like people said book it then you can always change it as WDW has no low season anymore
