discount codes on existing bookings???

Good evening everyone....
Just a quick question....I have been lucky this year to have been sent pin codes offering 30% deluxe resorts on 2 seperate occasions. Unfortunately, I have not been able to use either of them because of the dates the codes were for....
I am planning on booking a package for next august when the rates come out for 2009 (hopefully next month). My question is....if I have a package booked (hotel/tickets), and I am sent another code, am I able to use that code on my existing package? If I understand correctly, the discount code could be applied to existing room reservations, but I wasn't sure about packages. Also, if I have a room/tickets booked for the end of next august, and they offer free dining again, am I able to apply that to my existing reservation, or has it been for new bookings only?

As long as the reservation falls under the allowable dates you can modify it

Ah someone else who has to wait until next August to go....now I don't feel so bad...lol...my plans got screwed up for this year and I was feeling sorry for myself...lol...I am booking my Aug 2009 trip in fact tomorrow and then will change things once codes come out that include my dates, so yes you can apply a code even after you already booked at rack rate..that is usually what we all do on this board. I have never paid a rack rate yet and don't plan on it...lol
