We are working on making plans for our annual trip to Disney and we are considering trying out the campground :) I was wondering if the resort discounts codes ever include the campground and if so, are there any out right now for March 2011. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I assume you don't have AP's.
When you call for ressies, see what the AAA rate is. It may be worth buying a basic membership for 1 to get the discount.

I am a AAA member and I was just wondering does anybody know what the rate per day would be for the campsite? we are tenting it too

The rate depeneds on when you go. It is more expensive during busy times and cheaper during off times.

How long ago did you get the AAA discount for your May trip? I called last week and at first she said they didn't have any discounts available for May yet, then I asked her to check for AAA discount since I'd heard that others had gotten it and she said there was nothing. I'm wondering if she didn't know what she was doing and I should call back again.

Does anyone know how far out you can get AAA discounts? We have a trip booked in September too so I'm wondering when I should call them.

We made reservations for Aug 2011 a couple of weeks ago and I was told that there were no discounts available for tent campers (AAA or otherwise). I may have to call back!

we will be @ the fort march 25th- april 1st, we booked through AAA not sure what our disc was,(parking pass is the main reason we book through AAA) i recieved an email pin a few weeks ago but could not use it for the campsites:(

We booked for October 2011...No discount promos available right now:sad2:...Magic ur way with dining ends Sept 29th just a couple days before....

What are the chances the dining will be extended or other discounts come out before our trip?:confused3

Free dining is never offered to those staying in the campground part of The Fort. Since up to 10 people are allowed at each site, it's not economically feasible for WDW to offer it.

If you are active or retired military I would check to see if they have any discounts available for your dates. We were able to get a 40% discount for our Thanksgiving trip last year for a premium site.

Congrats. :thumbsup2

I just called and was told the military rates are only good through October of next year. :headache:

Guess it does depend on who you speak with.

I got a card in the mail from Disney for discounts on lodging. When I called to make the rez, I got 15 percent off on the campsite. They said the AAA rates for Feb 11 aren't out yet?

Strangest thing... we just called today to get a site for Saturday (got it!) and found out that there's an AP discount available as well - dunno when that happened, when I phoned originally, was told no discounts available.... strange.

Hey, I'm thrilled we got the extra day, AND a discount!! :cool1:
