Discount Code/Tickets for Mary Poppins Jan 17

We'll be in the Big Apple for 4 nights and are looking to take the children to a Broadway show. I think they'll enjoy Mary Poppins but tickets are $121 a piece and that is not in our budget.

Mousesavers had a discount but it expires before our arrival.

Does anyone know where I can find a code or should I just wait until we're in NYC and just try the box office when it opens in the morning? I was told that they sometimes sell tickets for $20-$30 for same day shows. I'm thinking Broadway won't be too busy mid January and we should be able to pick up 4 tickets or am I wrong?

Anyone have any experience in purchasing tickets for this show?

I don't know a code, but I had "partial view" seats...box seats for about $30 a couple of years ago. I would try the box office. It's been out a while, so I don't think it's filling the house.

Watch broadwaybox.com website for deals. Do you have a Disney Visa? They usually have discount codes. Also check mousesavers.com for codes. There will probably be a B1G1 or 50% off for that time of the year. It comes out closer to Christmas.

Ooops, sorry OP. The code mentioned above is not valid Jan 16 & 17. Is that MLK day weekend?

You can try the half price ticket booth located at 47th & Broadway. Mary Poppins has been playing to about 75% of capacity recently and half price tickets are available more often than not. The booth opens about 3 hours before show time and tickets are for that day only. Cash only. There is also about a $5 service fee per ticket. Sunday perormances of Mary Poppins are usually at 1pm and 630pm.

Since you'll be in NYC 4 days, maybe you can try another day if tickets for January 17 are unavailable.
