Discount code question when a split stay

Okay, so let's say I'm planning to stay at one resort for a Sat and Sun night, with one day tickets, no park hopper (for Sunday), no dining plan.

Then Monday, we check out there and check in somewhere else, and have 6 day tickets, with park hopper, and dining plan.

Are these treated as separate packages? Meaning, could I use a 30% PIN for the first two night stay, and use free dining (if it comes available) for the second six-night stay?

Or would I be better off staying somewhere else for Sat and Sun and just buy tickets?

Yup.

As the pp said, yes, you can use different discounts on each stay. The only thing you couldn't do is use 2 discounts on one reservation as Disney does not allow you to stack discounts.

Also, as far as I know you can still pick up your park tickets up to 3 days in advance of the start of a package so you could get a room only reservation for Sat and Sun nights, without tickets. Then book a package starting Monday night with tickets that cover both stays.

As Mickeynut1 said, you can use a different discount for each stay, but you cannot use more than 1 discount on each.

This is good to know. I was going to post this, but I wasn't sure if things had changed with the magic bands and I didn't want to give incorrect information. Thanks for suggesting it to the OP :).

We did this last October but did our meal plan stay at the beginning then did the RO stay at the end. It was the same resort but you can use your Dining plan through midnight of checkout day and we always fly out early and have leftover credits. This way we could finish using the credits through midnight and then paid OOP for meals the last day that aren't a "good meal plan value" (like Sci-fi or the Plaza)
