Discount code question (Dec-Jan)

We are staying at CBR 12/30-01/05 this year. I know that there will probably be no AAA discount for the nights or 12/30-12/31 but maybe for 01/01-01-05. In order to receive any discounts for the 01/01-01/05 would I have to split the reservation with a back to back stay?

Yes.you would need 2 different reservations.
