Discount at WOD

Do DVC members still get a 10% discount at World of Disney? The last time I showed my membership card there, I was told "I cannot honor that card." My aunt was with me, so I didn't question the information and used her Disney Club card instead.
I am hoping this was just a mis-informed CM. Has anyone else experienced this?

DVC members do not get a discount at WOD. We always had to use our MKC or our Disney Club card to get a discount there.

DVC never got a discount at WOD. If you had gotten in the past, you've been lucky. That's when you had a misinformed CM, not this time.

One DVC discount that I loved is the 15% off of merchandise at the Rainforest Cafe stores. They had a sale going on, and I got my girls $24.00 pajamas for $8.00 after all of the discounts were applied.

Just to continue the echo.....we never were entitled to a discount with DVC at WOD. In addition to being able to use the Disney Club/MKC discount, we were also able to take advantage of the American Express discount on purchases that folks on the White Glove Program got (you could only use one of the discounts....whichever worked out better.) With Disney dropping American Express as the official card in favor of starting their own Visa, this discount has also been discontinued.

In mid-December, we got a surprise discount at WOD - 15% for using Amex and staying onsite. For just Amex it would have been 10%. When we asked for the Amex discount, the CM asked for our room key and told us about the 15%. Nothing like an extra 5% surprise on a basket full of stuff

I didn't know RFC merchandise was discounted. DW loves to shop at RFC, as do our grandaughters. I'm sure we'll "save" a lot of money on our trip next month.

I'm not sure if this is good news for me or not. I'm leaning towards not.

Yessiree, DVC members get 15% off of Rainforest merchandise.

They had T-shirts marked down to $6.99, with an additional 30% taken off at the register. On top of that, I got the DVC discount. I also got $9.50 makeup bags that had been marked down to $1.99 with the same double discounts applied.

I liked the RFC at the AK better than the one downtown. The AK store was much less crowded.
