We are going in January and June next year, so we have discussed maybe wanting to spend a day at a water park (in June of course). :beach: We don't want to upgrade to the PAP as we would only go for one day. I know we are entitled to the $4 discount on the one-day tickets at BB or TL. Does this discount work like the AP - bring the blue card and ID for EVERY adult to prove address, or is just taking my husbands ID ok? I don't mind carrying all those cards if it is necessary, but the more we can leave back in the room safe, the better.

Thanks!

I don't remember ever needing my husband's blue card for anything except his AP purchase. I'm sure they didn't ask for it in addition to mine when we bought our BB tickets with the $4 discount, either.

You DO need the blue member ID and perhaps your own photo ID. But they don't need to see a photo ID for every person receiving a pass. It's not like the AP where the perk has residency restrictions. I don't believe there is a stated maximum on the number of tickets they will allow you to purchase, but you should be OK with anything in reason.

Pefect - thanks to you both! I just don't like carrying every important card around with us if we don't have to do so. So as long as one of us has the blue member card and ID to match, that individual can purchase the discounted passes for us. Sounds great! :goodvibes

I think you can also purchase the DVC discounted water park tickets at the concierge desk of our resort. I know we could purchase the discount PI tickets there.

Thanks for that info! We'll try to do that. It would definitely save time waiting in line at the park. :)

Just got back from a weeks water park trip. NO we could not buy the discounted passes at concierge at AKV. I tried but they said they had to be purchased at the parks. I was really bummed about that. It would have been nice to not wait in line at the water parks for tickets.

I had to have my blue ID card to get the discount. I did not take personal ID with me and they never said anything. Also, I was able to purchase for everyone in our party (DVC member or not).
