Discount and orders on line

Yesterday i placed an order and there was a discount of $50 off $150 order when i paid it took off $75 .I placed order in the morning late afternoon i got an email saying they had cancelled my order.I phoned to ask why and they left me on hold for a long time when they came back said will call tomorrow anyone had this experience should i be upset or does this happen ?

My guess is they realized the $75 vs. $50 off error and cancelled any orders that had the mistake.
