Discount after Booking

Last month I booked 5 nights at AKL for August 6-11 with dining plan. It looks like there is a good chance of a room only discount coming out for the time that we will be there. If so, do I need to cancel and rebook in order to get the discount? Also, I've already made all my ADRs and have them linked to my current reservation number; if I have to rebook, do I lose my ADRs?
I'll throw in another question while I'm at it - I am currently booked with AAA, would I get the Disney discount and the AAA discount?

You can only apply one discount.
Normally they will just apply the discount when you call and it's available, but idk how the dining plan plays into that (we never use the DDP).

If the discount is on just the room rate then you can apply it to your current package, but you cannot stack discounts so you'll need to do the math to see if the Disney or AAA discount is better.

Also, if a TA at AAA is booking your package, you'll have to contact that person to make the changes.

Your dining reservations are not affected by changes to your package.
