They implementing
new DAS system which is just like Universal's version of GAC. Don't know whether this is good or bad til we try it out. We using GAC on 6th Oct but don't return to Disney til after 9th so will be using new DAS system then. Will post my views on it then!
Not exactly the same. Should be better.
Here's our experience without on-site EP at US. (we usually stay on site).
At Despicable Me Minion Mayhem Ride, we HAD TO go to the ride, wait for 20 minutes outside in 95 degree heat and/or rain, just to talk to the CMs-(sweet kids, but usually overwhelmed by all of this)-get a return time, leave the ride queue line, stop, have meltdown(s), sit on curb in 95 degree heat and/or rain, and watch people go into ride for 2 hours. THEN, go back to ride queue, (still outside, in the sun/rain... wait until THAT line got back to CMs, THEN be waived to EP line...and wait ANOTHER 20 minutes.

We did talk to GS after that, and they said they were evaluating the system.
The WDW kiosks will be better, I have little doubt about it. For my son, if the kiosks is out of sight of the attraction, it'll probably be better for him.
There will still be challenges, but as the parents of kids on the spectrum, we will learn to adapt as best as we can, and so will he.
Have a great trip, and please report back to us with your findings and experiences!!!
