Disconnected FP for shows etc?

Does WDW have disconnected FP's like DL does? Meaning if you get a FP+ for ROL or F! you can still get FP for other attractions like TSM after you have used 2 of the 3 FP's?

For example after using 2 of the three FP for attractions like TSM you can obtain another one as you used the 2 FP and still have one for ROL or F! or if you get 3 FP+ selections and you use 2 of them and the third is for ROL or F! you don't get any more FP for the entire day as ROL & F! are at the end of the day? I am making my FP+ reservations tomorrow morning as my 60 day window opens and am trying to finalize my selections. Thanks for any and all advice.

No. All fps are the same including shows/fireworks.

If you select one for Illuminations, that will be your one tier 1 FP for that day.

Also note that Fantasmic you can easily get as an extra FP usually right before the show, Illuminations FP is a waste imo, you don't need one for Beauty and the Beast or Indy or Frozen.

Really the only show FP's that we're good were for Wishes and Lights Motors Action. I wouldn't bother with any of the others.

If you want to FP ROL or F! and still have 3 FP for attractions use a dining package. You'd get better seating at the shows and still have 3+ FP to use that day.

I want to go to ROL and F! I was told if I don't select ROL as one of my 3 FP's that I won't get one at all. So, that was the main reason I asked as I guess I will have to select it as one on the 3 because I have ADR's that I don't want to get rid of. For F! I was suggested to get that for my 4th FP. Is this your experience as well? So, far this is my plan. Please let me know your thoughts on my plan. Just to let you know I am not willing to get rid of my ADR's as me and DD really want them all. I have been suggested to get rid of some of them and have made changes for earlier or later but can't adjust anymore as ADR's are not available at this point.

And I am going to be in AK most of the day with an arrival around 10:30am as I have a breakfast ADR at 8:20am.
My plan for this day per Touring plans:
ADR at 1900 Park Fare for 8:20am
Arrive at AK after ADR
11:00am FP Kilimanjaro Safari
12:00PM FP Kali River Rapids
8:30pm FP ROL
The only other attraction we want to do that has a long wait time is Expedition Everest but the others are better options per Touring plans.
ADR for Spirit of Aloha at 5:20pm
Come back to AK after ADR for ROL and any other attractions.

For HS I will arrive in the afternoon around 1:30 as we are doing Rope drop for FEA at Epcot and then heading to our ADR at Tattoria Al Forno at 10:20am then heading back to Epcot for a while to check out F & G and maybe Soarin if possible. Then head to HS.
HS per Touring Plans:
1:30pm FP for ToT (as it's gone form DL)
2:00pm FP for RnR
ADR for Sci-Fi at 6:40pm
8:00pm FP Fantasmic

We also want TSM, The Great Movie ride, Indiana Jones, Muppet 3D Vision (as it's gone from DL) & Voyage of the Little mermaid

What time does your FP window for ToT open? It doesn't seem like it would be 1:30 because your next FP wouldn't start until 2:30. If it opens before 1:30, say 1:00, you maybe cutting close with your adr and hopping. You always could push your FP to later in the day and then hit the other attractions like muppets and little mermaid on n the meantime. Those waits are pretty minimal.

Is your Fantasmic at 8pm Or 9pm? You should try to move up that SciFi adr to earlier if you want to make it to an 8pm Fantasmic. If it's 9pm you should be fine. I'd arrive 45 min or more ahead of showtime for F!

So I guess it's estimating when you'll get to the next ride. So if you do ToT at 1:30 then earliest you could do RnR is 2:30

Ok I understand this concept now. I will reserve using this concept. Thanks! And I really really do appreciate everyone's input on this. I just can't wait until my FP's are reserved as this is pretty stressful. I've been reading info on here for a couple of weeks and asking advice to better my plan and have made several changes to better than plan as initially we didn't plan to go to Epcot & decided recently we wanted to go for a couple of things so, it's been more difficult planning.
