I haven't been to DL for many years. I've been doing some research and some websites mentioned that some attractions at DL and DCA are disconnected from the FP system. The information may be old though. Do you know if this is still the case? We would like to get one for the Cars attraction and still be able to grab another one.

Disneyland and DCA are still disconnected from each other, but all rides within the parks are not connected. The only exception is the WoC FP, which is disconnected from the other rides in DCA.

Up until a few weeks ago, RSR was disconnected, but the most recent reports indicate is now connected (as are Screamin' and Roger Rabbit). So only WoC remains disconnected.

There has been a lot of talk on these boards lately about FP at DLR. As of last week, RSR has been reconnected. It would appear that the only attraction that is currently disconnected is World of Color. I'm guessing this can change at any time.

Thank you for the reply. Is there any way of knowing if they go back to disconnecting for the holiday weekend. The only way I know how to check if by trying to pull two different FP before the time period is up. I'm guessing we should try for the Cars Ride first.

I agree that it can change at any time, but I tend to doubt that they'll make WoC a "connected" FP because it's not really a FP in the traditional sense. It's more of a voucher/ticket for a specific show time and location. I guess you can look at any FP like that, but WoC just seems different to me. It might be because it's the only "FP" for a show available at DLR.

Yeah, without pulling one and then trying for another, I don't think there is any way to really know. You could ask the CMs and see what they say, but it's probably hit or miss if they'd know. I would start with whichever FP you want most and then try the other one. I'm kind of guessing that they "connected" them because of the upcoming holiday weekend, so if they do go back to being "disconnected" I doubt it would happen until after that. Still, it wouldn't surprise me if they stay "connected" for the foreseeable future.

I agree with this. It seems like they've made this WoC FastPass thing too complicated (although I haven't tried it). I've done FP+ for MSEP, Illuminations and Fantasmic at WDW, and it's nothing like this. Like I said on a different thread, I'd rather just do a WoC dining package, and not have to deal with which color is better. World of Color just isn't a huge priority for me.

Its not that complicated. You pull a fastpass for WoC. They give out blue section first and yellow section next. You return before the show to that section. There are signs and blue/yellow lights to direct you. The problem is that the good spots in the sections fill in quickly. That being said, I have only had an issue finding a good spot once in several viewings.
