Disc stuck in the Wii

Mario Kart is stuck in the Wii. Has anyone had success getting a stuck game out of the Wii? I'll call Nintendo in a bit but I'm sure they'll have us send the Wii to them. Any suggestions we should try to get the game out before calling?

If you have had to send your Wii for repair, how long did it take from the time you sent it out til the time you got it back?

Yes we have a mario game stuck in there as well. It happened in November and I am embarrased to say I still have not sent it in. (I will get on it though)

What they told me to try.

1. Turn it off, disconnect, reconnect and try the eject again
2. Turn it upside down and try to shake it out! But that didn't work either.

Last time it had to go in we got it back very very quickly- like a week's time- Good luck. Our game that's stuck in there is actually warioware- we didn't even get to play it.

No, it didn't work. We're going to send it to Nintendo. They said repairs are taking 11-16 business days so that's not bad.
