You Can Make This has one. I think Lori said before that she used that one but modified it.

So hopefully this post will work. Here is a picture of the ribbon shirt that I made.:lovestruc I'm so excited about it because #1 I finished something, #2 it came out exactly how it was suppose to and #3 It was the first time I appliqued and used the HeatnBond in my life and I did pretty good.

Nice job!

Is anyone else having trouble with Photobucket this morning? It keeps going to "Mobile Photobucket" and everything is very tiny!

Here is Pierre!! So far he's a pretty easy dog. I don't think he's gotten off the couch, except to go outside! The poor thing, we are his 5th home in 7 years. He lived at the breeder's house until he was 1 1/2 (but she couldn't use him for breeding). Then, he went to another person, who gave him to her MIL because she didn't realize how much responsibility a dog is. The MIL gave him to the woman we got him from because she was moving to Florida (and why didn't she take him with her? :confused3). The girl we got him from is moving to Canada and said it's too expensive to take him over the border and she didn't want him to go through quarantine. But, she's taking her two cats. :confused3 Anyway, we're glad to have him. He seems like a little sweetheart. As you can probably see from the picture, he and Josie aren't too sure of each other yet. I was mean and made them sit next to each other for the picture.

I am way way back on page 47 :scared1: Yesterday was too busy to find time to read.

But I have to stop and post because Pierre is such a cutie pie! It took our schnauzers about 3 weeks to get used to Sophie. They avoided her until they realized she was staying.

I hope Josie and Pierre become good buddies. All three of mine play together now. They play a funny little game we call "I'm gonna bite you" The Dachshund runs around snapping at the schnauzers and pulling on their beards. Then she runs away so they will chase her.

OK, I thought I was loosing it for a few minutes. I haven't been around lately things have been really crappy around here. My DH lost his job, he is a pharma sales rep and they lost a patent on their drug...so I had to go get a job, which is going ok, but I miss being home and sewing and hanging out with you all. THen on top of it all I turned 30 last week!!! What a great way to start a new decade!!!:confused3 Anyway I finally get on the computer to see what you have all been up to and you have moved! What is up with that? I was so confused. I am assuming that we our thread got too big? Well I am back and hopefully won't be gone that long again. I did get a new serger from my mom and dad for the big 3-0 b-day!!! So far I am really liking it.
A big hello and I am glad to be back!

Sorry to hear your news, I hope things get better!

Nice job!

I'm having trouble too, I was getting on here to ask the same question!

OMG- That is so great- my favorite pose yet (and it's not just cuz we share a name) I really love it!!!:rotfl2:
Well it's your turn to show the "Anastasia" too! :lmao:

I signed up for a sewing class today :) I start Monday.
Oh that is fun. The first class you learn sooo much! Share your practice outfit after the class.

Ohhh very cool thanks for sharing...I think I will have to try it! Perhaps I can make a "Lori skirt" with it..hahahaha:thumbsup2

everyone has to try it, it is so adorable in the end!

oh, well the YCMT pattern is a first place to start, but I modified it a little and use a different waist band.

Josie and Pierre are still cut off, I can see the tips of their ears.

I see this (but with all the smilies before Josie)
Married to Henry the Disney-hater since 1994, mother of Tessa (4), and Sawyer (1), doggy-mom to Josie
Okay, I think I fixed it!

I find these to be very interesting!! What great looking slings! I love that you made DD a matching one! The diaper cover is too cute, too!

I wanted to ask you how you go about making your sister a slave. I have a perfectly good one, but I'd really like a slave...:thumbsup2

What a cute skirt!!! Tessa's always trying to do the "Anastasia", but I tell her to stop sticking her butt out! :rotfl: Ever since she spent time with her cousin from Arizona, she keeps trying to do the "booty dance". :rotfl2:

OK, Steph, I have a question for you: did you cry when you cut Megan's hair??

I just cut 8" off of Brianna's hair. it was SUPPOSED to be four, but she moved while the scissors were cutting. :headache: Her hair is around her chin now (from halfway down her back).

Oh, and we're doing BBB in April, and she doesn't have enough hair for a ponytail. :sad1:
I cried when Tessa cut her own hair, when I was pregnant with Sawyer. I think it scared her so bad to see me crying about it that she hasn't done it again (plus, I told her that if she cuts her own hair again, I'll just shave her bald). I've been reading the BBB thread and even if a girl has short hair, they make it work. So, don't worry about that!

I made the list. I feel so welcome here

You are welcome!!

Oh and to share I thought it was funny. DH was looking at the fabric I bought tonight and told me he was ok with whatever I decided for the Star Warz fabric he would be fine with as he liked that. He then looks at the whale fabric ... looks at me and looks back at the fabric. Why exactly did you get this again? I showed him the sailor hats on the whales and said since we are staying at the BC it would make cute fabric for first day. He says ummm I KNOW you are not planning on me wearing that anywhere right? I said yes Dear I kind of figured that. He then comes back and says you know it is great fabric if we have a GIRL but that is not boy fabric ... you do know that is not boy fabric right? LMAO. I was amused anyway.
:rotfl: Too funny! Your poor DH!!

WOW! What fantastic pictures. All of the customs are just great!! You have such a cute family! I love those pictures of the castle...beautiful!! I currently have a picture that Cindee took of the castle all lit up as my wallpaper.

I'm off to McDonald's to meet my dear sister and watch the kids play!

A big hello and I am glad to be back!

I'm so sorry to hear about your husbands job. :( Glad you got a great gift for your birthday though! :)

Okay, what is everyone on to get this thread moving so fast? Twelve cans of diet Pepsi every morning? I log on and try and catch up and when I come back there are 20 more pages! I'm just not that fast!

Beautiful outfits everyone and beautiful pictures! Love the Hannah Montana outfits and Castle pictures from Christmas!

For the family with MRSA prayers are coming your way!

And fortheluvofpooh I hope your 30th year gets better! It's just the beginning so it has lots of room for improvement!

Okay, now everybody take deep breaths and slow down so I can stay caught up!

Thanks Heather. I feel better today. I had to wait until she was in bed, because she threw a bit of a fit when she realized the cut was permanent,a nd I didn't want to upset her more.

Oh, and threatening to shave her head won't work when I have had my head shaved at least twice in her memory. She has ASKED for that to be done to her, and I keep having to tell her NO. :cutie:

Okay all of you sneaky Disers..I need some help. There is an auction that is ending really soon, and I love the style of the skirt, and I'm trying to save the picture, but the right click is disabled...any tricks...I don't want to CASE her exactly..:rotfl: just the style of it...LOL

hehe must be an AZ thing. But the best thing to do is have them face the opposite way and then say, move only your head not your body and look at me. after a few tries they got it!!
