Ladies I have a question about fabric. When you buy a ton what do you do? Do you wash it then or just wait it out?

I throw it right in the clothes hamper when I bring it home. At first I was leaving it until I needed it, but then I realized that when I need it, I need it RIGHT NOW.

ok, I was working on this set! This is a Hannah Montana skirt since my 6 year old is hannah montana obsessed! Guess she will wear customs if it;s hannah. shirt is from walmart.

This is great. I think we need to rename the tutu skirt the "Lori skirt"!!

sure I finally break 100 posts and now I have to start all over again. Well it won't be today. DD 2 is now haveing a pukefest. It started last night at midnight and is still going on. I have a call into the ped. It is always something.

I'd say a large cutting mat with a clear ruler and rotary cutter are absolute essentials!

I love the Anastasia ... and the skirt is cute too! I bought HM flannel yesterday at WM, but can't find the other anywhere. I'll be on the lookout, though!

Nope, doesn't hurt your back - it has really wide padded straps and the weight is distributed evenly. I still use this one now (even though I have a whole collection of carriers ) and can carry Izzy at 3years on my back - she is about 16kgs which I think is 35lbs (not 100%sure of my math though)

I'll probably take one of my slings or carriers (maybe I can make a special disney one ) when we go as they fold up nicely and fit in your bag - and if your going to carry a child you may as well do it handsfree and comfy

It is really cute! I have been on the lookout for good Disney material for a carrier lol.

Hi boutiquers!

I just wanted to share these jeans I got from an ebay/etsy seller. My dd is obsessed with Hannah Montana! (necklace is by me, shirt is by WalMart boutique).

I think the outfit is too cute! I must say my DD just about when crazy when she saw that your DD had "THE HANNAH MONTANA" guitar She is currently saving up her money to get one

I think it is easy, but then again I have made probably 40 of them. The gathering of the tulle takes a little time. and I loke to serge everything, but just make sure your needle can handle the amount of layers!

He then looks at the whale fabric ... looks at me and looks back at the fabric. Why exactly did you get this again? I showed him the sailor hats on the whales and said since we are staying at the BC it would make cute fabric for first day. He says ummm I KNOW you are not planning on me wearing that anywhere right? I said yes Dear I kind of figured that. He then comes back and says you know it is great fabric if we have a GIRL but that is not boy fabric ... you do know that is not boy fabric right? LMAO. I was amused anyway.

So I went and bought a few things ... I have NO idea what I am going to do with a lot of it but I figure something will pop out at me eventually. It was on clearance and well I have issues.

Bunch of different color swirly fabric. Thinking I may use some of this on the little ones blanket.

I bought four panels of the Frosty it was .90 a panel! Then I bought what was left of the star warz no clue about what I will do with it though.

Then these. Revrob they still had about 2 to 4 yards of this left when I left. She said a lot of people had bought it today. There was a WHOLE bolt yesterday! Did you go to Kilgore lol.

I finally got a few of my Photopass pictures uploaded to Photobucket.

This is the whole group. My family is on the left. I made all the customs. I wish I had insisted that our DH's at least wear black, white or red.

Here is one that shows DDs AK custom pretty well.

DS's pirate shirt. I also made DNiece and Dnephew's Mickey head shirts.

When I posted my first batch of pictures I promised someone (Cathy, I think) that I would post some of the Castle lights. It was so beautiful.

Wow I really like this. Is it "fuzzy" or raggedy around the squares or is it just the photo? If I plan a trip for you, will you make me one?? j/k

Around the square the material is clipped and when you wash it makes it curl up kinda and get all ravelly (sp?) so it looks fuzzy Let me see...if you plan a trip for me will I make you one?.... j/k

That is our plan this time to coordinate. We went matching last time which was fine but I am hoping to do some customs this time that are not just shirts.

I love the AK shirt with the ribbon pants cute! Loving the pirate applique too.

I am really hoping they do the castle lights again next year! I would love to see them in person.
