I am off to walmart for just milk! Wish me luck I do not bring home fabric!

lori
I am too weak! So proud of you for just getting thread.

I'm so SHOCKED!!:scared1: My Aurora outfit that I just listed on :wizard: got a bid already....This outfit was definately a labor of love, and I wouldn't have minded keeping it. I guess I'll have to make another..:rotfl:

I just checked and now there's 2 big fat bids. :yay:

OK, so I was going to make Ella another apron style top tonight, but I just thought of a possible predicament. I think the ties may interfere with going potty (as in possibly dangle down into the potty - ack!) Do you all think these types of tops would look OK with shorter ties?
We just went through this too...yes, make the ties shorter. They'll look fine. No likey wet ties!

I did fabric covered buttons tonight! EASY! :)

These 3 are cousins and they wanted matching sets.

SO cute!!! I love these!

I know I showed this outfit before but it wasn't finished. It is now...and I found out, that the skirt can be worn two ways! I love how it came out. Ireland loves it too.

I'm working on another Aurora as we speak...I'm almost finished. It's kind of hard to stay motivated this week. It's my spring break from school, and I have my state board exam on Wednesday and I should be studying like crazy, but can't seem to do that either...:confused3

This is amazng.... I love the tulle, it makes it even better!

Allright, here is the number 2 Disney outfit. I'll try and post more tomorrow. This one was really easy... I just cut Aurora from a pillowcase and appliqued her to the tank, then made a super twirly skirt to match. The skirt has a very full eyelet petticoat attached underneath.

I love this - so twirly!!!

While I'm remembering, only because they just did a reminder on the 11 pm news, don't forget to move your clock forward an hour tonight, it's time to spring ahead... I almost forgot...

THANK YOU!!!! I had already totally forgotten.

Ok, great - thanks ladies! will be making shorter ties for the apron tops! I got some seriously cute owl fabric and care bear fabric at Hancock today. The owls are a little boy-ish looking, but Ella will just have to deal because I LOVE them! Besides, she can be a little tomboy at times.

UMama, I love your deranged Easter bunny! :rotfl:

This is SO stinkin' cute! And so is your DD! Aurora looks really pretty on purple and I just love the twirly skirt with the eyelet. That may just have to be CASED!

Thanks so much!! I "knew" but needed the reminder ;) I just called a friend of mine who has a flight leaving at 6am, making sure she doesn't miss it because of the time change!!

I don't know how to do multi quotes - BUT I ABSOLUTELY love both Aurora outfits!! You are both VERY talented and have very cute daughters!!

Congrats!! it is adorable. now wish me luck on my nemo, princess and monkey set I have listed ! No bids yet -
but we should not talk of that place. nevermind!

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only bought 2 spools of thread at walmart!! No fabric in the cart!!!
Congratulations!! I have not been able to do this in a long time.

I am so excited!!! I just read an email about the PPP. They are going to be doing it while we are there in May!!! I'm buying our tickets now. DD will be so excited. I think that I am going to keep this a surprise from her. I'll have to make something extra special for her to wear.

I like the curls. Put the curls back. I thought that you were going to say that you had Georgia's hair straightened. :rotfl:

HAHAHA you know its funny because I keep looking at the picture myself thinking man she sure does look cute. But could you even begin to think of how long and hard that would be to do that to her hair?!

We got our new washer and dryer delivered today. :cool1: I am so happy. One week without a washer and dryer is just horrible. Our washer started flooding the outside room where it was so we just decided to buy a new set.

Oh YAY for the new washer!! At work the washer went out and because it had to be approved by the office then purchased and delivered....it took two weeks. Now, I work at a group home for adults with developmental disabilities and we have six clients. There is at least three loads daily of just client clothing, not to mention wet clothes and house laundry. It was the pits!

Glad you are back in action!

those are so cute. and the girls look adorable!

Good Luck on that!!!:lmao: I never get to go into Wal-Mart and just get what I need to get. I always seem to walk out with atleast $30 in fabric.

I USED to do this too! Not anymore, darn them....Since we don't have a Walmart close to us all are 20plus minutes away. the next one is about 40 minutes! I need to track down a fabric dept.

OMG can that girl get any cuter?!?! I love the outfit. And the curls, oh I just love curls. Of course I HATE having to brush them. ... but they are just so sweet.

:rotfl: Love the picture! She still looks gorgeous! And THANK YOU!! We just got the Madagascar fabric today--Luke  it (so does Lily, but she gets everything, so Luke gets this :rotfl: ) I think we'll make him some shorts/pj bottoms out of it.

ooh that was fast! Glad Luke  it!! hehe its always nice to have something for the boys. Let's hear it for the boys!! Lets hear it for my man.... OOoh was I singing out loud?!?! hahaha I have been doing that all day at work. Every time someone says something I bust out in song. My co workers (thank goodness they know I am a big dork) were looking at me crazy when we were in the store. Yes , I said store and I busted out in song. haha

Me and DD sing in the car all the time. We have two of the HM CD's and that is just about all we listen to. Well HM and Weird Al. :rotfl: Yes my baby loves Weird Al.

hahaha Weird Al! I haven't heard him in ages. Oh yes, we have all the HM cds too. RIght now in the truck is Disneyland park music. hahaha At least my Autistic child has picked an obsession I love too.:rolleyes1

We also have a Disneyland 50th anniversary dvd in there too. She watches that any time we are in the truck more then 15 minutes. But its just the fireworks..Over and over and over and over.. well you get the idea. I always said we will NOT let her watch movies in the car all the time. HA! That went out the window as soon as the dvd's came in the mail!

I haven't been to PPP, but I keep eyeing that pattern every time I go to the store. It's so pretty.

I am so excited! I went to Sears today and got SO much stuff for $40!!!!!! I got myself a 3 piece suit, 3 sweaters, 4 skirts, 2 tops, 2 Disney sweatshirts and I got Arminda 1 Disney sweatshirt, 1 top and 1 sweater jacket. I also bought two women's skirts that I am planning on remaking into dresses for the girls. I NEVER get stuff for myself, so I was REALLY happy!!! The one suit I bought was origianlly $80!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Then, I spent $25 for 7 gallons of gas!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

WOW! You got some fantastic deals !!! (well, except for the gas!!:rotfl: )

Love the petticoat underneath, very cute

Everyone's stuff is so cute! Too much to quote! I have a few things to show, but have no batteries for my camera!:scared1: haha! I can't find any of the friends fabric, either. I don't know what I am going to make for epcot. IDK, it may just be mickey themed, and not epcot themed.

Teresa, funny about the gas! The price is driving me crazy! I may have some fabric money if it weren't for the price to fill up my tank.

I do wish some new disney fabric would come out. I would like to see something different in the store. Well, I hope everyone remembers me, my whole family except for me has the stomach flu, and I need your prayers that I won't get it!

Grrrrrrrr my DH had computer problems and deleted all of our "cookies" and it took me till now to remember my Dis password and I thought I had logged in and multi-quoted and lost it all.

What I was going to say was....my DD is feeling a bit better though still coughing lots....she can hardly catch her breath when she gets going. :scared:

I really love the Aurora outfit and the three matchy outfits for the three cousins! Wow! and that cute little purple aurora outfit. I love the pic of her climbing down the steps too

I really love the princess pattern from Simplicity too! Wow! I think its perfect for ppp. Do you have any fabric in mind?

Ok I am cleaning the house and taking my DD9 to pick out fabric for an Easter dress. I am 45 min away from fabric so I have to plan my trips. Plus I have no money :sad2: to spend. Seriously, how will I get out of there under $40???????? Send pixie dust for some sales! pixiedust:

(My DH and I are committed to moving to Florida in 9 years. We will retire. We are saving all money for that goal but it sure makes life now tough. You really gotta get creative! I am hoping that the weekly trips to Disney then will be worth it!!!! :cheer2: )

Oh yeah and I forgot again to mention....

back a couple of days ago, UM posted a pic of her everyday outfit for her DD. I was going to say that "Norah looks great in Dora" and how that rhymed ..... I am such a dork! :rotfl:

And a big thank you again to Teresa and who ever is keeping up with this thread and filing pics away.....THANK YOU!!!!!! :flower3: :
