Here's what I've been up to lately. Megan picked out this kitty cat corduroy when we were looking at Halloween costume stuff so I finally made her something with it. I used the Katrin pattern to make a jumper, which of course turned out too short. And it was too hot to put a shirt underneath it. She liked it though!
Oh, and I usually use the
Angry Chicken video for attaching bias tape but I thought I could manage it without watching the video. Of course I used single fold bias tape which does not work! I felt so silly when I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work.
Anyway, here is Jacob and I last night on our way to the mother/son dance. It was 60s theme so he picked out some crazy batik and I made him a vest and myself a tunic (both Carla patterns). We got lots of compliments but did not win best dressed. A note for anyone attending a 60s theme
