In general, I am a bit of an over planner, OCDish by nature type of person... :rolleyes1

But, our upcoming Disney Trip, is making me completely NUTS... I have outfits planned/purchased/being purchased for all of our days in the park... I recently heard of the Disneybound tumblr page, and OH DEAR, it was all over after that... :coffee:

We have 1 or 2 family days, the rest are just us each doing our own thing.. (all disney of course) :rotfl2:

For one of our family days, we are doing Minnie Mouse Themed for a birthday breakfast at Plaza Inn..

And Disneybound type outfits, I have:
Winnie the Pooh
Goofy
Minnie (family day)
Daisy Duck
Little Mermaid...

And then a smorgasbord of Disney t's and tanks...

AHHHH! :crazy2: Have I mentioned we don't leave until the END of JUNE! :o:o

So, help me feel normal.. show me your cute Disney outfits, days in park clothes... PLEASE..!? :worship:

You are totally normal :goodvibes I love Disneybounding and love seeing others when they do it too! Adult guest are not allowed to dress in costume at Disneyland anymore, so it's nice to see when people bound. Its subtle enough that you wont stand out and fun enough that it make people smile when they figure out who you are bounding as.

Have fun, post pictures!

Oh we will DEFINITELY be posting pictures.. :) And funny, we are staying at Hojo! :jumping1:

You shouldn't feel bad. I just learned about Disney Bounding this week and started a spreadsheet with my outfit planning. I may be out of control, it keeps growing. At this rate I will have to go back to the resort and change outfits twice a day to wear everything I'm planning.

O.M.G.. YES!! I LOOOOOOOOOOVE the spreasheet! :worship: :::Runs to make spreadsheet:: :rotfl:I didn't even get a chance to look at your outfits yet, because I got so excited about your SS.. Off I go to look. LOL

We saw some very creative outfits on our last visit... a couple of young ladies in what I would consider dapper outfits... But as Jane from Tarzan, Minnie Mouse and can not remember the other. My daughter DB as Mickey.. Black Top, Red Jeans, Black Converse, Yellow Bandana on her neck..

What is a "dapper outfit"?

I was just googling this and found some pretty great ideas. My DD noticed this last trip, even though she was technically young enough to dress up in a full characters costume had she wanted, she did not feel comfortable as she is almost 14 and very tall and would likely be mistaken by many as being too old to dress up - but she found the idea of Disneybounding more fun as you are putting your own spin on it and she thinks it's a cheaper idea as all the clothes can be normal clothes you wear every day otherwise. I am going to try to talk my DH into doing Indiana and Marion on our next trip - we shall see...

I know my son would love to Disneybound as Eeyore...that should be a fun one to figure out.

Minnie Family Day: ::MinnieMo
Mom: Red Polka dot dress, yellow shoes, minnie ears headband
Dad: Who knows, Maybe just Mickey T Shirt..
Daughter: red white polka dot skirt, black shirt, bubblegum bead necklace, minnie ears headband, black shoes
Birthday Boy (son): Custom #4 t-shirt, red and white polka dot suspenders and bowtie

Goofy: :goofy:
Orange T-shirt, black vest/sleeveless cardigan thing, denim shorts/jeans, lime green slouchy beanie.

Winnie the Pooh: pooh:
Yellow Romper, Red Cardigan, Pooh Ears headband bumble-bee/honeypot jewelry

Daisy Duck:
Purple tank top, white cardigan/vest, white shorts/pants, giant pink and white daisy bow headband.

Frozen Family Day:
Daughter: Anna princess dress and AE Boutique Day.
Son: Custom Olaf t-shirt and Olaf inspired Mickey ears
Me: Elsa- Blue Dress/romper, silver/snowflake jewelry OR Elsa shirt and denim shorts (have both and cant decide)..

SHOOT.. That is all 5 days! And I wanted to do mermaid!!! :scratchin:scared:

Can't wait to Disneybound, even just once, this September at WDW. :D

I'm bounding as Sadness on my next trip-- white cowl-neck lightweight sweater, bright blue ankle pants, black ballet flats, giant round purple-lensed sunglasses, and a turquoise beret. My friend is going as Wreck-it Ralph: red plaid shirt, teal undershirt, brown jeans, and sandals. I'm so excited, it'll be my first time Disneybounding!

Oh my GOSH... I LOVE both of those ideas!! I can totally see sadness, that will look amazing! And seriously love wreck it ralph... I wanted my dd to be vanellope one day, maybe I will get her the stuff..

This will be my first time disneybounding as well.. It's only my second ever trip, so last time was a learning experience for me...

Never heard of this before. Is it DLR specific? We have mostly been to WDW.

I did this as Snow White last trip and at our princess meal she comment on it. It wasn't anything crazy yellow shorts blue top and red headband.

She said oh we are dressed alike aren't we. I was very pleased :)

Weird, wonder why its a DL thing.... :confused3 We are planning WDW in 2017 and unless i change in size drastically, I'll be doing same outfits there... :jumping1: Guess I will be the odd one out! LOL!
