Disboards running so slow!?

It seems pretty zippy now -- hope everyone's doing lots of clicking and catching up this morning!

This morning - first time coming on - seems fine. I had posted on the tech board a few days ago too about how slow it was. Would click on a thread and nothing was happening.

I have had no trouble on other sites and I have a brand new computer so I know it most likely is the dis.

I hope it's fixed or the dis is up for their yearly update - I know this happens every once in a while.

It's been horribly slow - for a few days now.. I don't have a lot of patience waiting for the pages to load - I could be reading my books instead - so I probably won't hang around too long tonight..

I also read a lot. What I've been doing is reading a page or two while I wait for the page to load. That way I don't have a lot of just waiting time and it's amazing how much I get read while I'm on the DIS. But so far today it has seemed a little faster.
