I have poked around on some of the other Disney websites. (I feel like I'm cheating when I'm on the other one) I won't mention any website names!! They bicker and fight soooo dang much about such silly things on there! OMG!!!
That is one thing that I love about DisBoards. Everyone on here is so nice and very respectful of each others opinions. The "other" one gets pretty crazy and petty.
Way to go Disers!!!

I found that to be true on some wieght loss surgery boards I used to be on ......got to the point I just stopped, I got more discouragement then support. Dis rocks

I think it's just finding the right fit. Some people LIKE to fight...that's why they're ALL on thos OTHER boards!

I frequent a parenting board as well & I've "known" all the ladies on there since I was pregnant the last time - we're not catty, but I've seen that on other parenting boards I tried out.

In FACT, I told the moms on the parenting board to come here for advice when they were planing to go but since they were going to WDW instead I guess they didn't get the warm repsonses we get here. I'm not sure.

Anyway - I agree!! LOVE the Disboards!!!

I have to say, I agree with you both . I love this DIS boards , everyone is sooooooooooooo nice and helpful .

I looked at 2 other sights only once never went back but ever since I signed up here I have been on at least once a day .

The advice I get from reading all the threads has made my planning alot easier and I have learned so much here .

Love love love DIS and will be a fan for life !

I just found this site a few weeks ago and I have agree with everyone...this site is awesome!!! I belong to two other Disney sites but this one is fast becoming my favorite!

This is my favorite Disney board, too. I occasionally rise to the bait when rankled but I'm not one to attack others, just defend my position from time to time Anyway, I like the format and the information here. I'm a veteran of many different types of boards, and you know which one got the nastiest? A Kitchen remodeling board. Go figure. I'm glad my kitchen's done

There are 2 other sites that I check once a week, but I am here every day!

The other large DL board has so many arguments and everyone seems to get really mean. I also noticed that I think it is a lot of teenagers. Every now and then I catch a a reference to parents taking them to DL. Not sure.

Anyways, I love the DIS!

I agree. I belong to a military spouses board as I am an ex-military spouse (not that I am an ex but my dh is no longer in the military but I still am part of the board) and I too frequent 2 other dis boards but they are more informational. They have chat sites but I don't go to them really. I just go to their info parts and then come here to chat.

I LOOOVE this place. I get so much info and everyone is so nice and this place ALWAYS makes me feel good. I have never really seen any trolls like on other boards and when I am sad or having a bad day this place always cheers me up.

I can always share my Disney obsession with people who "get" me cuz people in the real world usually don't. Plus it is so fun to share my excitement about my upcoming trips and even if I don't have one coming up I can share others excitement and even helping people plan THEIR trips is exciting to me. I can live through THEIR excitement.

I just love this place and I am on here constantly.
