Sunday 1st June.
Epcot, got there for 8.30am and had photo taken in front of Spaceship Earth and had a look around that area until the character bus came along to signal that it was open.
Went straight to the central hub where the character bus had stopped for the kids to get some autograph's they hadn't got already - Mary Poppins.
Dopey was stood there all alone and although the girls had already got his autograph they felt sorry for him and so had their photo taken!!
Went to living with the land on the boat ride as the girls seem to like looking at the plants that they grow there. Stopped to have a drink and a Muffin in the food court.
Next went to the Living Seas where the girls made a book mark about creatures who live in the sea and what we could do to prevent danger to these creatures - they were really colourful and brought them back as a souvenir.
Collected a few more pressed pennies/Quarters for my collection and another book!
Had hot dogs in Pure and Simple in the wonders of life pavilion.
Next onto World Showcase starting with Mexico and a ride on El Rio Del Tiempo - just walked straight on (never done that before).
Bought a little sombrero to go with my collection of things bought "around the world".
Rode Maelstrom in Norway - girls like going down the flumes!! Stayed to watch the film as I would love to go to Norway one day as their life seems traditional and laid back. I had already bought a troll last year as my souvenir from Norway!!
Next onto China where the girls each bough a silk fan with their names written in both chinese and english (the start of their souvenirs from around the world)
Carried on around and stopped at Liberty Inn for a drink before going to Italy to watch the "Masquerade". Girls couldn't wait to have their photo's taken with some of them and Lauren (my eldest - 9) was given a white carnation from one of them which she would not let go of all day!!
Went back to ride Test Track with our fast passes and virtually walked straight on and managed to get through the whole ride without stopping due to a fault!! Kids thought it was wonderful although I must say I can take it or leave it.
Decided then to go the other way round starting with Canada and then United Kingdom - Just had to sit down beside the lake with Fish and Chips - something we have done each time we have been so it's become another tradition!!
Onto France where the girls had their photo taken with Clopin from Hunchback and we were told that Beauty and the Beast would be out after 15 minutes so we hung around as we hadn't yet seen the beast to have a photo which the girls did and had a huge hug!!
Girls then pestered to go to Morocco to see who was there - Genie from Aladdin (another photo)
Looked around Japan and could have bought a load of things in the department store and it was lovely to go in there for the air conditioning as it was really hot outside.
Watched the American adventure as it's good to see where America's roots are - ENGLAND!!!
Lauren wanted to go around the "Doggone maze" which was a maze created by planted evergreen trees in pots and included topiary of some of the dogs from the films!!
Finally stayed to watch Illuminations (3rd time) but still find it amazing how they project the images into a hollow world!! We managed to wait around the gateway area until they opened the area up for us to sit down to watch and we managed to get at the front.
We then walked slowly back taking in the atmosphere and taking pictures of everything lit up - it is very beautiful at night - got back exhausted as it was a long day and it had been very hot all day and we hadn't quite got used to it only being our 2nd day there, but everyone enjoyed it.
The first year we went we weren't sure if we would like it but I have to say Disney being Disney know how to appeal - but I still say BRING BACK TAPESTRY OF DREAMS!!!

I agree about Tapestry:bounce: You are lucky to meet beast - I will be looking for him in October :D

Thanks for the report. You bring back so many memories of my own holiday! :D
