DISavers and SOG

I made reservations through SOG for a trip to WDW this December 1-7. I got an overflow rate for PO-R of $84/night and I received the reservation notice and the bill for the remainder of the stay from the Disney Reservation Center.

My question is, can I transfer this reservation to DISavers if i joined? Or would I have to make a new reservation altogether?
In general do I make a reservation through Disney's Reservation Center or Travel Company (or any of the other vacation companies listed on the DISavers site) first and then call DISavers or does DISavers make the reservations?

You would not be able to transfer your Shades of Green reservation to DISsavers, as this is not commissionable to Dreams.

If you booked a reservation directly through Walt Disney Travel Company or Central Reservations, then you could transfer that. It is not necessary to make the reservation yourself, though. You can just call and find the best available pricing, and then request a reservation through DISsavers. We would then book the reservation for you, providing we can get the same price you were quoted.
