We just got back today and I will write a trip report this week BUT - -
everyone should know that if your looking for Mr. Incredible, you'll be disappointed.

We went to Magic Kingdom on Saturday and a cast member (who was with Buzz) told us that Mr. Incredible was only in MGM. So, the next day we went to MGM. Guest Relations at MGM told us that the Incredibles are no longer making ANY appearances at any Disney property. I asked when they will be back and I could not get an answer.

I complained to Guest Relations at MGM, so they called the entertainment department to see if anything could be done. Of course since it was the weekend, GR said the manager was not in on the weekend.

They only thing they said was they the entertainment department MAY be able to send us ( and 4 kids) a letter from Mr. Incredible stating that he was sorry he missed us.

I am so disappointed since Disney has no problem selling ALL Incredible merchandise but fails to post anywhere that the Incredibles will not be appearing until further notice.

Can you imagine how disappointed my 5 year old was after thinking for a week that he was going to see Mr. Incredible!!

I am soooo disappointed in Disney.

Oh I am so sorry! I know the incredibles used to do pics/meet & greet outside of the buzz lightyear ride... I saw them there earlier this year. I hope your son was able to make some other good memories with you!

Sorry your kids didn't get to meet the Incredibles, but I hope you had a great trip anyways.

I'm sorry for the disappointment. I try not to hype anything up with my DD too much for that reason. If she's not expecting it, she wont get disappointed. With WDW there is tons more to get excited about.

I know its hard, but maybe Mr. Incredible can send him a letter and he'll be okay. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip.

I remember the 1st time we went we waited over an hour to see Mickey Mouse in the Judges Tent. I couldn't believe WDW had only one place to see the Mouse. I wanted a Family Picture with Mickey.

Now I find out, you can see Mickey at all different kind of resturants. I just wish they would have more places at the MK to see him, not just the Judges Tent.

But how would he get around to all of them so quickly? :rotfl2:
Once we caught 2 Mickeys!! Minnie had walked off hand in hand with my dd back into the Cast only area! And they let us follow along(such cute pictures-) well there they were...2 Mickeys! Thankfully my kids didn't catch on at all.

I just got back with my family and I have to agree that this was the one character/groups of characters we were very disappointed to have missed! Less Stitch, more Incredibles! We did manage to get my son some Incredibles gear anyway. We got him a Mr. Incredible at Character Premiere that says phrases like "your evil grin will look gret on my knuckles".

Sorry you didn't get to see them! But I do have to say thank you for posting that info. The ONE character my son said he wanted to see was Mr. Incredible...thanks to your info, I can prepare him for our trip in the fall & tell him that he may not be there!! Wonder who we can write/contact about that?

Sorry to hear that....When i went to MK in Feb, we did manage to take some photos with Mr&Mrs. Incredible.

I have a funny story about the Incredible Family in MK. I saw Mrs. Incredible and wanted to know if the rest of the family made an appearance. I asked the CM and she replied "Mr. Incredible is off assisting Frozon with a problem".
I'll be very very disappointed if they aren't around in Oct!

It was 2000, my 2 1/2 year old son's heroes were Woody and Buzz, and we waited for 30 minutes in line to see them. Sadly, Buzz had to take a break right before my son got to the front of the line! We got some cute pics with Woody, but then he left too and it was too bad for the rest of the line. (This was before they took 5 minute breaks and came back - they weren't coming back for hours) We didn't make a big deal about it, just framed the Woody picture and made over it. Kids get over stuff easier than we do, I think. Next time we made sure we saw Buzz too, and all was right with the world! Our philosophy - can't see them ALL in one trip, so we'll catch them on the next one! :thumbsup2
