Disappointed with Loews First

I just got off the phone with Loews First. Instead of hearing the good news that I have been upgraded to Loews Gold (after having stayed 4 nights at Universal and 2 nights in Miami in June) they told me that no stays have been recorded on my account. To me this seems odd because according to my frequent traveler Amtrak account Loews posted miles twice on this account.

On both times while making my reservations and upon check in I presented my Loews card so I really don't know what happened.
I just hope I get credit for my stays. I was hoping to get an upgrade for HRH in December but now I am going to have to wait to make my reservations until they fix the problem. Loews first said they were going to call the hotels to verify my stays.

Has anything like this happened to anyone? Never had a problem with Hilton Honors.

This happened to us also last year. Loews called the hotel we had stayed at (HRH) and got the info from the hotel, and we were upgraded to Gold, altho have never recieved a new Gold card. We were able to upgrade to club level twice by just reserving a standard room with a AAA discount. I'm sure it will work out for you, too.

As long as you can give them the check in date and the name of the person on the reservation..they will easily confirm and you will be good to go.
 

Did you get any discounts other than AAA? If so, the stays are not supposed to be eligible for upgrading you to another level. Apparently they are getting strict about this.
